Worked in one piece starting with yoke. With colour 1 make 56ch, 1tr in 4th ch from hook, 1tr in each ch to end. Turn. (53tr + 3ch)

Row 2 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of the next 4tr, * rpt from * to * to last 4tr and 3ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of last 3tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (63tr + 3ch)

Row 3 – 3ch, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn.

Row 4 – (Inc) 3ch, 1tr into each of next 3tr, * 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of the next 3tr, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr and 3ch, 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each of last 2tr, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (78tr + 3ch)

Row 5 – As row 3.

Sleeves x 2 – With WS facing join colour 1 into same space underarm before ps group, 3ch, * (1ps, 1ch, 1ps) into 1ch space of next ps group, bpdtr around next dtr, * rpt from * to * to last ps group, (1ps, 1ch, 1ps) into 1ch space of last ps group, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (7 ps groups). (There will be a small gap formed, you will close this in the finishing section)

Next Row – 3ch, * (1ps, 1ch, 1ps) into 1ch space of next ps group, fpdtr around next dtr, * rpt from * to * to last ps group, (1ps, 1ch, 1ps) into 1ch space of ps group, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn.

Button & Buttonhole Bands – With back of dress facing, join colour 1 to lower edge on right hand side at base of opening, make 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 2dc into each row end to neck edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each ch around neck, 3dc into corner, 2dc into each row end down second back edge. Turn.

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each dc to neck edge, 1dc into centre dc of 3dc on corner. Turn. (25dc)

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end. Fasten off.

Buttonhole Band – Return to first back edge and working from neck down with WS facing, join colour 1 to centre dc of 3dc on corner, 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, * make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 6dc, * rpt from * to * twice more, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into remaining dc. Turn. (4 buttonholes)

Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each 2ch space and dc to end. Fasten off.

Pull on Hat – Made in rounds without turning until Row 6
# With colour 1, make 6ch and join with a ss to form a ring, 3ch, work 13tr into ring, join with ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row.
