Coat – Starting with yoke and worked in one piece. Using color 1 ch61, 1dc in 4th ch from hook, 1dc in the next 7ch, (front) (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch, 1dc in each of next 9ch, (shoulder) (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch, 1dc in each of next 19ch, (back) (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch, 1dc in each of next 9ch, (shoulder) (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch, 1dc in each of next 9ch. (front) Turn. (62dc, 4 ch spaces + ch3)

2nd Row – (Inc Row) ch3, 1dc in next dc, * ch1, skip 1dc, 1dc in next dc, * rpt from * to * 3 more times, (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in ch1 space of corner, 1dc in next dc, rpt from * to * 5 times, (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch1 space of corner, 1dc in next dc, rpt from * to * 10 times, (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch1 space of corner, 1dc in next dc, rpt from * to * 5 times, (1dc, ch1, 1dc) in next ch1 space of corner, 1dc in the next dc, rpt from * to * 4 times, 1dc in top of ch3. Commence Skirt – ch2, work 2dc in base of ch2 * skip 2sc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last 2sc, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc. Turn. (34 groups)

Pattern Row – ch2, work 2dc in base of ch2 * skip 2dc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last 2dc and ch2, skip 2dc, 1sc in top of ch2. Turn.

Rpt Pattern Row until 17 rows have been worked or work measures 9.5 Inches from shoulder. Fasten off. Turn.

Join in color 2 and work Pattern Row once. Fasten off.

Sleeves x 2 – With WS facing rejoin color 1 under arm in same ch1 space on corner (where you divided for armhole), ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each dc to ch1 space under arm on opposite side of armhole, 1sc in ch1 space, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn. (29sc)

Next Row – ch1, (1sc, 2dc) in base of ch1, * skip 2sc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last sc on opposite side of sleeve, skip sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn. (10 groups)

Rpt last row until 13 rows have been worked or sleeve measures from underarm to cuff approx 4 Inches. Fasten off.

Work one round in color 2. Fasten off.

Front Bands – Working on WS with color 2, start on bottom of coat on left hand side, work 45sc evenly along front edge to neck, 3sc in corner, 1sc in each ch around neck to next corner, 3sc in corner, work 45sc evenly down second front edge. Turn.

Buttonholes – ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in each sc to start of yoke, * ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in next 7sc, * rpt from * to * once, ch2, skip 1sc, 1sc in last sc. Turn.

Next Row – ch1, 1sc in base of ch, 1sc in each ch2 space and sc to end. Fasten off.

Return to stitches on second front band and working from neck edge downwards, ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, 1sc in sc to end. Turn.

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work one more row of 1sc in each sc to end. Fasten off.

Finishing – Close small gap under arms. Weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim off, attach buttons to correspond with buttonholes.

Bloomers – Using color 2, ch90 loosely, being careful not to twist chain length, sl st to first ch to form a ring, ch1, 1sc in each ch to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of row. Turn. (90sc)

Next Row – ch1, (sc, 2dc) in base of ch1, * skip 2sc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * to last 2sc, skip 2sc, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn. (30 groups)

Rpt last row until 19 rows have been worked or work measures approx 5.5 Inches from beginning.

Divide for Legs
First Leg
– ch1, (sc, 2dc) in base of ch1, * skip 2sc, (sc, 2dc) in next sc, * rpt from * to * over next 13 groups, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Turn leaving 15 groups un-worked for second leg (will come back to). (15 groups)

Continue in pattern as set, sl st and turning at the end of each round until 12 rows have been worked in all from division. Fasten off.

Work one round in color 1. Fasten off.

Second Leg – Return to un-worked groups at division, skip 2dc rejoin yarn to first sc, continue in pattern as set and complete the second leg same as the first. Fasten off.

Rejoin color 2 at waist, ch3, 1dc in each ch along cast on edge, sl st to top of ch3 on beginning of round. Turn.

Starting with ch1, 1sc in base of ch1, work 1sc in each dc to end, sl st to first sc on beginning of round. Fasten off.

Chain Tie – With color 1 make one chain tie a 130ch long and two chain tie’s 80ch long. Fasten off.

Using color 1, make 2 pom poms, I used the Clover Pom Pom maker size 25.

Finishing – Close small gap on crotch, weave in any loose ends of yarn and trim.

Thread long chain tie through alternate tr’s on waist, attach a pom-pom to each end and tie in a bow.

At the bottom of each leg thread 1 short chain tie through the stitches on round 2.
