4.50mm Clover crochet hooks
5 small buttons
TENSION – 5tr and 2 rows measures approx 1 Inch

Crochet Wrapped Jacket-Pants uk
Coat – Worked in one piece, starting with the yoke.
Make 60ch, 1tr into 4th ch from hook, 1tr into the next 13ch (Front), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into next 8ch’s (shoulder), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 21ch (Back), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 8ch’s. (shoulder), 3tr into next ch, 1tr into the next 2ch (Front). Turn. (65tr + 3ch)
2nd Row – (Inc Row) Make 3ch, * 1tr into each tr to next 3tr group, 1tr into next tr, 3tr into centre tr of 3tr group, * rpt from * to * to last 3tr group, 1tr into next tr, 3tr into centre tr of 3tr group, 1tr into each tr to end, work 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (73tr + 3ch)
3rd to 9th Row – rpt 2nd Row. Turn. (129tr + 3ch)
10th Row – (Divide for Armholes) – Make 3ch, 1tr into each tr to 3tr group, 1tr into next tr, 2tr into centre tr of 3tr, make 1ch, miss 26tr (armhole), 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each tr to next 3tr group, 1tr into tr, 2tr into centre tr of 3tr group, make 1ch, miss 26tr (armhole), 2tr into next tr, 1tr into each tr to end, 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn. (81tr, 2, 1ch spaces + 3ch)
Commence Skirt – (Include the 1ch space under both arms as a stitch)
3ch, miss 1st, 3ps into next st, (see abbrev) * miss 1st, 1tr into next st, miss 1st, 3ps into next st, * rpt from * to * to end, work 1tr into top of 3ch. Turn (21, 3ps groups)
2nd Row – 3ch, * 3ps into centre ps of 3ps group, 1tr into tr, * rpt from * to * to end, working last tr into top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt last row until 10ps group rows have been worked in all from yoke or work measures approx 11 Inches from shoulder. Fasten off.
Sleeves x 2 –
With WS facing rejoin yarn to side of tr at base of sleeve were you divided, 3ch, 1tr into each of next 26tr, 1tr into side of tr on opposite side of sleeve, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (27tr + 3ch)
Next Row – 3ch, * miss 1tr, 3ps into next tr, miss 1tr, 1tr into next tr, * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (7, 3ps groups)
Pattern Row – 3ch, 3ps in centre ps on 3ps group, * 1tr in next tr, 3ps into centre ps of 3ps group, * rpt from * to * to end, ss in top of 3ch. Turn.
Rpt Pattern Row until 8ps group rows have been worked or work measures approx 4.5 Inches. Turn.
Cuff – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each st to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (28)
Work 2 more rows in dc, turning at the end of each row and ss to first dc. Fasten off.
Button/Buttonhole Bands – Written for a boy, swap buttonholes to opposite side for a girl.
With WS facing rejoin yarn to bottom edge on left front so you are working up towards neck edge, work 40dc evenly along, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each st around neck, 3dc into corner, work 39dc evenly down second side of front edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each st along bottom of jacket, 1dc into corner, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn.
Buttonhole Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc to end, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc along front edge, 3dc into corner, 1dc into each dc around neck, 1dc into corner, make * 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into each of next 8dc, * rpt from * to * three more times, make 2ch, miss 1dc, 1dc into of remaining dc. Turn. (5 Buttonholes)
Next Row – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each dc and 2ch space to neck edge. Fasten off.
Button Band – With WS facing starting on neck edge, work 1dc into each dc to corner. Fasten off.
Finishing – Close small gaps underarms, weave in and trim off any loose ends of yarn. Sew on buttons to correspond with buttonholes.
Pants – Make 88ch, ss to first ch to form a ring, 1ch, (RS) 1dc into base of 1ch, 1dc into each ch to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Turn. (88dc)
Row 2 – 3ch, miss 1dc, 3ps into next dc, * miss 1dc, 1tr into next dc, miss 1dc, 3ps into next dc * rpt from * to * to end, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row. Turn. (22, 3ps groups)
Rows 3 to 11 – 3ch, 3ps in centre ps on 3ps group, * 1tr in next tr, 3ps into centre ps of 3ps group, * rpt from * to * to end, ss in top of 3ch. Turn.
Divide for legs
First Leg – 3ch, 3ps in centre ps on 3ps group, * 1tr in next tr, 3ps into centre ps of 3ps group, * rpt from * to * nine more times, 1tr into next tr, ss to top of 3ch on beginning of row to make a round. Turn. (11, 3ps groups)
Rpt Pattern Row from sleeves until 10ps group rows have been work from division or work measures approx 10.5 Inches from waist.
Cuff – 1ch, 1dc into base of 1ch, work 1dc into each st to end, ss to first dc on beginning of row. Fasten off. (44)
Second Leg – Return to un-worked stitches at division, join yarn with as ss to same tr as last tr worked on first leg, make 3ch, continue in the same way as first leg. Fasten off.
Chain Tie – Make 150ch. Fasten off.
Finishing – Close small gap on crotch, weave in all loose ends of yarn and trim off, thread chain tie through alternate stitches on waist and tie with a bow.
